The Travel Professionals have made a pledge to get all staff involved in The Travel Foundations ‘Make Holidays Greener’ campaign 2013 by taking the ‘Go Greener Holidays’ training quiz. All staff have completed the quiz with two top scorers achieving 94%!
The Greener Holidays campaign is a chance for travel companies to showcase what they have done in the area of Sustainable Tourism and also to spread the word about why greener holidays are important as well as an opportunity for holiday makers to learn more!
The campaign theme this year is ‘Link to what’s Local’ raising awareness of the things that make holidays special – local culture, local delicacies & souvenirs, local history, the environment and, above all, local people!
This year our General Manager has taken the Travelife Sustainability Management training course for tour operators & travel agents and following this we are now implementing our sustainability policy.
During July The Travel Professionals will share tips & insights through Facebook & Twitter & blog posts.
