Day 1 Just arrived in Tuscany, Italy Woo Hoo! Well, not really woo hoo because I’m waiting IMPATIENTLY in the Europcar rental place to get the car, I’m at breaking point and I think I’m going to scream, it’s been 45 minutes.Yay! We got a Fiat Panda and we have finally arrived at our Villa ‘Podere La Costa’ but had to go straight out to eat before everything shut for siesta. We have just got back from Ferretti where I had some antipasti, spaghetti bolognese and ice cream YUM YUM!! And now I’m exploring the garden of our villa, good times.

I’m back again and I have a funny story to tell you. We’ve just been driving around for half an hour trying to find Florence, but in the petrol station a guy said that Firenze WAS Florence and that we’d been driving around it! Anyway, now I’m in a restaurant drinking home-made lemonade and waiting for our food to come! Hello again, we just got back from Firenze aka Florence we got some food from the local market and we’re going to have a FEAST! But the bad thing is my legs ache, BIG TIME!

Day 3 CIAO! Let me catch up on what I didn’t write yesterday. Our feast was EPIC! We had T-Bone steak (local speciality), sausages, artichoke hearts, courgettes, tomotoes and bread! Mmmmmmm, tasty. Off to the hot springs today, that will be FUN! We didn’t go to the hot springs, but we did have fun is Pistoia and I had ice cream with the most EPIC flavours – nutella and pistachio!! TASTY!!

Day 4 Hello, I bet you’re getting bored of me by now? But if not keep reading! I didn’t write this morning because I was making breakfast. We went to the Tuscan hot spring! It was called Bagno Vignoni. At the bottom of the hot spring there was this really soft, white mud – it’s really good for your skin if you rub it in but it did STINK!!

After that we went to Montepulciano. We had lunch and then explored the historic town. Later I had yet another ice cream, this time melon & lemon! Mum & Dad bought wine.

Day 7 Noooooooooooooo! Today is the last day! We are going to Pisa and Vinci (birth place of Leonardo) today and then, at nine o’clock at night we’re getting the plane back to England. I think a week is a good time for a holiday, we’ve done quite a bit, so the last thing to tick off our list is pizza in Pisa!

YAY! I had pizza, it was ham & mushroom. We also went to the leaning tower and took the cheesy photo of me trying to push it up straight! Anyway, I guess this is it until my next holiday. Thank you for reading my Tuscany holiday diary!
