Highlights of Dubai

Dubai

Luxury is probably the first word that comes to mind when you think of Dubai, with the iconic skyscrapers and the magnificent range of hotels to choose from; and it is no wonder that it is one of the top tourist destinations and becoming more popular each year. Even if you were dreaming of staying at the 7* Burj Al Arab there are plenty of other Fantastic Hotels that are still luxurious but more affordable, though make sure you go and get a glimpse of the inside of the Burj Al Arab before you leave!

Shop Till You Drop – Dubai is one of the ultimate shopping destinations, so if retail therapy is something you can’t live without on holiday, then this is your place. The Dubai Mall is the largest in the world and along with over 1200 shops, includes an entertainment complex, aquarium and an ice rink! The Gold Souk is where to head if bling is your thing. The narrow lanes are packed with retailers selling all things gold, but there are other souks to explore including the Spice Souk, all good places to try out your bartering skills and remember to shop around. The Global Village, with its carnival like atmosphere is Dubai’s leading family entertainment and cultural attraction with unique shopping experiences and dining options representing cultures from around the world.

Feeling Adventurous? You will find some form of activity around every corner in Dubai. Its desert location makes it popular for desert safaris. Choose either morning, afternoon or evening and whilst out you can enjoy Arabic coffee, sand skiing, sunset photography and dune bashing! Many visitors will spend the day on the dunes spotting oryx and gazelles, then sleeping out under the stars in a Bedouin camp for a truly memorable experience. To cool down perhaps a trip to the water park at Atlantis The Palm, the number one water park in the middle east. You and the family can get the adrenalin pumping with record breaking rides and slides, or get up close and personal with sharks and dolphins and then relax on the private beach.
