Dalyan
Set within the Environmental Protection Area of the Dalyan Delta, Dalyan is a resort that has something for everyone. The River weaves its way languorously from Lake Koycegiz, which is fed by underground rivers and hot sulphurous water released from a fault line, past Dalyan town and through the reed beds where it meets the sea at Iztuzu Beach.
Plenty for all the family to enjoy from a visit to Sultaniye Hot Springs and Mud Baths to the ancient city ruins of Kaunos. The river is the focus with tourists taking boats down to Iztuzu Beach, maybe spotting a turtle or two on way and dominated by the Lycian Rock Tombs.
Dalyan itself is a buzzing, cosmopolitan town with plenty of restaurants, bars and markets for that all important shopping.
