Contrasting Caribbean
I have recently returned from a trip to Barbados and The Grenadines to view two properties that, although both very luxurious, are contrasting in style and vibe!
First stop was 
Sandy Lane Barbados which is one of the leading hotels in the Caribbean, providing outstanding service and luxury to satisfy the most demanding of clients! The soft white sand beach and turquoise Caribbean sea entices you to take a dip and then relax on one of Sandy Lane’s trademark pink sun loungers! Glitzy and glamorous a popular choice for the rich and famous, you are without a doubt guaranteed impeccable personal service, the one element that Sandy lane prides itself upon. The rooms are beautiful and of a very high standard, including a veranda and complete entertainment system. For pure luxury, this is the place to stay!
Next stop was Petit St Vincent The Grenadines, this is ‘barefoot paradise’ contrasting as it does with the glitz & glamour of Sandy Lane. Here you will find pure escapism and is definitely the place for those who have had enough of their busy lives! PSV is a private island located in secluded and tranquil surroundings. No telephones, TV’s or internet ensures a relaxing haven for guests!
Cottages are dotted around the island and communication is by way of flags which are raised if you need anything. Seclusion and privacy are the watchwords here. Days are spent on the beach in hammocks, yoga, spa treatments, non motorised water sports or sailing to the neighbouring islands and then enjoying a cocktail at the informal ‘beach bar’ which enjoys panoramic views across the East and West of the island.
Whilst certainly contrasting in style, neither resorts lack in terms of luxury. Whether you want to escape from it all or indulge your senses the Caribbean caters for it all.
